Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15th August 2025. The entire campus was decorated with tricolour flags, balloons and flowers, creating a festive atmosphere.

The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag. All the students and teachers paid respect to the flag and remembered the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.

Students presented patriotic songs, dances and speeches highlighting the importance of freedom and the rich cultural heritage of India. To mark the occasion, children also participated in paper craft activities related to Independence Day, making tricolour flags, kites and other creative items that added more colour and joy to the celebration.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students. The programme filled everyone’s hearts with pride and love for the nation and made the day truly memorable.

Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and devotion on 12th August. The programme began with a prayer dedicated to Lord Krishna. Children came dressed up as Radha, Krishna, Gopikas and other characters from Krishna’s life. They looked colourful and vibrant in their costumes.

Children from different classes participated in various cultural programmes such as songs and dances based on the life of Lord Krishna. Students dressed as Radha and Krishna added beauty and charm to the celebration.

The programme concluded with the message of love, devotion and unity, leaving a memorable experience for all.

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

Raksha Bandhan, a celebration of the bond between brothers and sisters, was observed with great joy and enthusiasm at Xavier's CDC. The event aimed to strengthen the bond of love, care, and trust between siblings and to promote traditional Indian values among the students.

The celebration began with a brief introduction about the significance of Raksha Bandhan . Students participated in various activities like rakhi-making, singing songs and rhyme recitation. Children made handmade rakhis, symbolizing the promise of protection and love.

The highlight of the event was a dance performance on a Raksha Bandhan song.

It was a joyful and memorable day for all the students.
