JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Xavier’s Child Development Centre on 2nd September 2026. The celebration was organised to help children understand the significance of the birth and life of Lord Krishna.

The children came dressed beautifully as various characters associated with the life of Lord Krishna, such as Lord Krishna, Radha, Sudama, Balram, Yashoda and many others. The little ones looked adorable in their colourful and traditional costumes, making the celebration even more vibrant and joyful.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a beautiful skit presented by the children depicting the heartwarming friendship between Lord Krishna and his best friend, Sudama. The children performed with great enthusiasm and beautifully conveyed the values of true friendship, love and devotion.

The children also participated enthusiastically in various activities and performances. The celebration provided them with an opportunity to learn about Indian culture, traditions and the significance of Janmashtami in a joyful and engaging manner.

The Janmashtami celebration was a memorable and delightful experience for everyone at CDC.
